Squalify is a Munich-based cyber risk quantification venture of reinsurer Munich Re that quantifies cyber risk in financial terms for benchmarking, insurance decisions, and board reporting. Its top-down approach draws on more than 15 years of cyber risk data, and in January 2026 it launched Essential CRQ, which produces a financial quantification in as little as 24 hours from a minimal set of inputs. The platform helps identify high-ROI controls and simulate business impacts.
